Well, the big day, many of us have been waiting for, is only six months away from becoming a reality. Our long anticipated UTAA 15th Annual Convention and the Festival of Expatriates will be held this summer in our beloved Taybeh and the response to it so far has been wonderful among our Taybeh brothers and sisters who plan to attend.

The UTAA Board of Directors just held a conference call meeting with the Convention Committees in Taybeh. This very successful meeting included Taybeh, Jordan, Guatemala and the United States, all in effort to coordinate and plan for this monumental event.

The Rabeta in Jordan will be working on obtaining either group or tourist visas for our brothers and sisters in Jordan and other countries that require visas. If you need any assistance while in Jordan, please let us know and we will arrange with the Rabeta for that. Also, the Annual Taybeh Day party in Jordan will be held this year at the end of July if you plan to attend after the convention.

The convention is scheduled to be held in our homeland, Taybeh, Palestine – July 16-25, 2010..........
